Antonis Donef (b. 1978) lives and works in Athens. He is a graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Athens. In 2010 he was awarded the “Art House Shanghai Award” and in 2005 he was awarded with “Eurobank’s Young Creators Award”. He has presented his work in solo exhibitions in Greece and in Italy. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions among which are: “Hell as Pavillion” at Palais de Tokyo in Paris, curated by Nadia Argyropoulou (2013), “Contemporary Woman in Greece” at Hub, Athens, curated by Marina Fokidis (2011), “Contemporary Greek Art Scene” at the State Museum of Contemporary Art (2009). Antonis Donef is incuded in “Vitamin S2” which is published by Phaidon and is an anthology on contemporary drawing. Donef is represented exclusively by The Breeder.
