Haris Epaminonda (b. 1980) lives and works in Berlin.
She studied at Kingston University, London and after completing her Bachelor’s degree, she continued at Royal College of Art, London. Epaminonda’s work has been featured in solo exhibitions including at the Kunsthalle Lissabon, Lisbon (2012), Museum of Modern Art, New York (2011),Museo di Palazzo Poggi and Biblioteca Universitaria, Bologna, (2010), Tate Modern, London (2010), Site Gallery, Sheffield (2010), Malmö Konsthall, Malmö (2009), the Circus, Berlin (2008) and Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin (2008). Her work has also been shown widely in international group exhibitions and screenings including dOCUMENTA (13), Kassel(2012), the Sharjah Biennial (2009), the Athens Biennale (2009), the New Museum, New York (2009), the Deste Foundation, Athens (2009), the Berlin Biennale (2008) and in 2007 she co-represented Cyprus at the Venice. She received the Linklaters Award (2002), the Undo Foundation Award (2007) and residencies include the Kunstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin (2007-2008), Can Serrat, El Bruc (2005) and Cite Internationale Des Arts, Paris (2002).
