Hourig Torossian (b.1967, Nicosia, Cyprus) where she lives and works.
She studied Fine Arts in the U.K. and gained a first class honors BA degree from Wimbledon School of Art and an MA degree in Fine Arts from the Royal College of Art in London. Since graduating in 1994 she has been an active artist exhibiting in Cyprus, Greece and the U.K. In 2005 she represented Cyprus in Austria, highlighting artist’s works from the ten new E.U. member states. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Applied Arts Department at Frederick University in Nicosia. Her most recent solo exhibition in 2010 took place at the Argo Gallery, entitled ‘To Colour and Symmetry.
