Klitsa Antoniou

Klitsa Antoniou (b. 1968) lives and works in Nicosia. She graduated from Wimbledon School of Art, London (1987-1988) and Central St. Martins School of Art and Design, London (1988-1991). She completed her MA at the Pratt Institute, New York (1991-1993), and she is now a PhD candidate at Cyprus University of Technology. Since 1994, she has presented her work in many solo and group exhibitions in Cyprus and abroad among which are 2011: The Location of Culture, Pulchri Studio, Hague, The Netherlands, OCC one (Original Certified Copy one), Tint Gallery, Thessaloniki, Roaming Images, The Persistence of the Image, Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art, 3rd Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art, Thessaloniki, Rolling Snowball/2’, Wonderland Lotte Square, Quanzhou, China. 2010: Exterritory Project, Mediterranean Sea, (Cyprus’ participation curated by Klitsa Antoniou), Beijing Biennale China, The Little Land Fish, Antrepo exhibition venue, Istanbul, Breaking Walls – Building Networks, Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art, Thessaloniki. 2009: Personal-Political, Thessaloniki Biennale, Tempus Arti Triennial Exhibition, Brussels, Exhibition Launch, Exhibit Gallery, London. 2008: OPEN, Venice, Action Field Kodra, Thessaloniki, Umedalen Skulptur, Galleri Sandström Andersson Sweden. She is one of the founding members of Artrageous Group.
